We have three main functions:

Community Service
Some of the projects we participate in are Project Linus, Mother’s Day Gift Baskets, and Cradles to Crayons Clothing/Toy Drive.

Fund Raising
Each year the Club holds the Milton 10K Road Race which benefits chosen charities with a portion of the fund-raiser contributing to our Scholarship Fund. Milton 10K is held in the spring and enables us to donate the money to community organizations and give scholarships to Milton residents. Some of the recipients of our fundraising efforts include: Student Scholarships, Holiday Gift Card Drive, Preschool Story Hour, Annual Library book donations, Cares with Bears, Milton Food Pantry, Cradles-to-Crayons, Clothing Drive, and Council-on-Aging luncheons.

Social
Each year, the Club organizes fun things to do together or with our spouses and significant others. As with most of the Club projects, it is not mandatory to attend any social function but it is a lot of fun and helps you to get to know the other Club members.

History
The Milton Woman’s Club was founded in the late 1800’s. The Milton Woman’s Club sponsored the Milton Junior Woman’s Club in 1913. The Junior Woman’s Club, however, disbanded in 1917 because of World War I. The Club was reorganized again in 1933 and incorporated in 1979.

Today, the Milton Junior Woman’s Club strengthens and enriches the community through a wide variety of events and activities.
